Photographs, videos, audio, and other materials created or received for a client are used to provide the agreed services.
Use of identifiable client work for the Crosslight Media portfolio, website, social media, advertising, or other promotional purposes is governed by the applicable agreement, booking selection, model release, or separate permission.
Parents or legal guardians must provide any required consent for identifiable minors.
Clients who provide footage, photographs, music, or other materials are responsible for confirming that they have permission to provide and use those materials.
4. Consent and communication choices
By submitting an inquiry or booking request, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of information reasonably necessary to respond and provide the requested services.
You may withdraw consent where applicable, subject to contractual obligations, legal requirements, and reasonable business recordkeeping.
Submitting an inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to promotional emails. Commercial electronic messages will only be sent where permitted by applicable law and will include a way to unsubscribe.
5. Service providers
Crosslight Media uses service providers and business tools for website hosting, security, contact forms, scheduling, email, contracts, invoicing, payment processing, workflow automation, file storage, and gallery delivery.
Depending on the service requested, these providers may include Cloudflare, FormSubmit, Cal.com, Invoice Ninja, Documenso, Pixieset, email providers, payment providers, and automation tools.
These providers receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their services and handle information according to their own privacy practices. Some information may be processed or stored outside Canada and may be subject to the laws of the country where it is handled.
6. Retention and security
Personal information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain appropriate business and legal records, resolve concerns, and meet contractual, tax, accounting, or legal requirements.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards based on the nature and sensitivity of the information. No electronic system or method of online transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
7. Website technology and external links
The Crosslight Media website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies.
Website infrastructure providers may process basic technical information or use technologies necessary for website delivery, security, spam prevention, and reliability.
The website currently loads fonts through Google Fonts. Google may receive technical information, such as an IP address and browser information, when these fonts are requested.
This website uses an embedded Cal.com scheduling tool and contains links to social media, Google reviews, and other third-party websites. Cal.com and other third-party providers may receive technical or booking information when you load or use their services, and their privacy policies apply.
If analytics, advertising technologies, or other non-essential cookies are introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated.
8. Access, correction, and privacy concerns
You may request access to personal information held about you, ask how it has been used or disclosed, request a correction, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. Legal and contractual exceptions may apply.
Crosslight Media may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.
